# Effortless ePrescribing for Psychiatry

Valant is a behavioral health EHR with ePrescribing built in, so prescribers can prescribe with insight and confidence from inside the EHR. ePrescribing is powered by Valant's long-standing integration with **DrFirst**, which Valant calls the gold standard in electronic prescribing.

- **PDMP access:** Clinicians can reach more than 43 state PDMP databases to review patient prescription histories, make informed prescribing decisions, and meet state-mandated monitoring requirements.
